pros:
For the price this remote is fantastic! Work fine with ipod touch 4G. Volume levels seem to be more than with the headphone jack on the ipod.
Love the fact that I can change songs and the volume without removing my 400 dollar device from my pocket. Especially while shoveling snow! A touch screen is a great interface in general but not for music on the go, for that you need buttons. Big bonus is the very clear display and of course the FM radio.
If anyone had a Iriver H120/130 back in the day before apple took over then you will love this remote.

Cons:
How to use is a bit of a pain at first but you get used to it
Wish the clip was something you squeeze open rather the pen type clip it has now
the cable is a bit bulky but I guess it wont break easily

Gonna get another one before discontinued or price hike

I finally was able to turn my iTouch (2 gen) into a radio, and I am very happy with it. It instantly controls my iTouch mp3 songs, and FM radio. It will even list the artist’s name and song while listening to the radio. Phenomenal. And, the wire/cable is long enough to put the iTouch in a backpack and have the player (Controller) clipped to your shirt or bag strap.

I bought this to remotely control the Ipod Touch in my car. Great product. It will control the music functions of the Ipod Touch with no problem. The unit has a tiny little display to see song title. It is very well done. You can actually read it very easily because of the way they designed it. The title lights up on a black background. To turn off the unit you hold down the play button. It took me a while to figure this out. I was leaving it on. It will turn itself off after about an hour, but if you don’t turn it off by holding down the play button you will drain your Ipod battery, although it’s a minimal drain. The unit is well made and looks like it will last for many years. It also has a built in FM radio and although I won’t be using that part, I tested it and reception was very good. The display screen also tells you the stations name as well as it’s dial setting. My car radio doesn’t even do that. I will definitely be looking for other products by Griffin as it looks like a lot of thought went into the design of this item. A good deal!
